Cult of Luna, The ocean - review (Bucharest)

The Ocean , Cult of luna and Lo! - the concert of  the year, i would say for me ... here in Romania... took place in Silverchurch and i was really amazed by the sounds i listened. The audience was lower than i expected but sometimes  ''less is better''!
Lo! - gaved the start,   ....to the evening with a combination  of  hardcore and sludge. It was the introduction.A good one.

The Ocean, .... i can say i wasn't really  listening to this band's albums, but the live performance was a ''massive blast'' to my ears! I was fully amazed by the combination of background images (sub-marine imagines ) and the great work at drums and guitar and powerful vocals. This band gaved me the image of humanity, our seven billion people planet, consumed.
We have become a super predator,we built an empire, even greater than the coral reefs,we overcame the ocean through land.
The ocean planet has actually a limit to its renewal, which we should learn to respect,we are moving towards a catastrophe...i can say The Ocean is a band that inspired me that nature does not support excess.
The Ocean's live  performance , took the sounds and the feelings to an untouchable limit,... a limit i was wondering if any band or even  Cult of luna could touch.
!!!Great performance!!!
After a short time-out, Cult of luna hit the stage, with Vertikal -The one, follower by I the weapon. Some sound issues determined  ten minutes off, i guess that was some  silence tunnel to hear after, the most intense sounds on the planet. Dark City, Dead Man, the song i was looking forward to hear since 2007. It was breathtaking. In Awe Of .....hmm ill just let you discover this one.
No more further words for this band.Go check the venue, it is probably still trembling. IT WAS THE PERFECT CONCERT.

Setlist CULT OF LUNA:
The One, I: The Weapon ,Ghost Trail, Finland, Vicarious Redemption, Owlwood, Dark City Dead Man, Passing Through, Disharmonia, In Awe Of.
